Richard Chadwick - Shire President

Richard was elected at the 2003 Election. Richard and his wife Vicki have a farm to the north of Narrogin, which they operate in conjunction with their son and daughter. Richard is an active member of the Narrogin Golf Club and whilst not holding a senior position at this time he is often working behind the scenes. He also enjoys a game or two on the weekend.

Andrew Borthwick - Deputy Shire President

Andrew was first elected to Council in 2001. Andrew is married to Maureen and they farm adjacent to Yilliminning Rock approximately 18 kilometres east of Narrogin. They have three adult children. Andrew's special interests include hockey, tennis, landcare and playing the bagpipes. Andrew has represented Western Australia Country in veteran's hockey competitions and when it comes to playing the bagpipes you will often see Andrew at the head of local parades.

Geoff Ballard

Geoff was elected at the 2005 Election. Geoff and his wife Rosemary along with their four sons run a farm in the southeast corner of the Shire. They also operate a contracting business in and around the Shire of Narrogin and are especially involved in the hay export industry. Geoff’s interests include being involved in the Christian Community, both junior and senior cricket and hockey clubs in Narrogin and he is currently the Nomans Lake Catchment Co-ordinator for the Narrogin LCDC.

Darrell Wiese

Darrell was first elected to the Shire in 1988. He has served as a Councillor and Deputy Shire President, and from 1995 to 2005 as Shire President. Darrell is married to Helen and they have three adult children. Both Darrell and Helen are active members of the Highbury district community.

Janice Sieber

Janice was elected to council in October 2007. Janice has a background in journalism and a keen interest in local issues. She is married to Dane Sieber and the couple farm 25 kilometres east of Narrogin at Nomans Lake. They have two young daughters, Renee and Leah who attend Narrogin Primary School. Janice enjoys helping at the school and is also involved locally with hockey, calisthenics and is currently president of the Nomans Lake Hall Committee.

Barry Hardie

Barry was elected in 2001. He and his wife Dorothy have a farm on the western boundary of the Shire, which they manage along with their three sons. Barry is an active volunteer fire control officer in the Minigin Bush Fire Brigade and has a special interest in football. During the football season Barry will often be seen at the local game supporting his sons.

Janet Thompson

Jantet was elected in October 2007. She and her husband Matt, own and operate Narrogin Beef Producers, a 10,000 head cattle feed lot south of Narrogin. Janet and Matt have four children Kate, Abby, Will and Luke. Janet's background is in finance and agricultural economics. She enjoys all sports, reading, speaking and writing and is currently involved in writing and producing a local play "The Fundraiser".
